Davies Wood Summers LLP
DWS became an LLP with effect from 1 May 2006. This new limited liability partnership will practice under the name of Davies Wood Summers LLP. This change will not affect the business we currently undertake for our clients, or any aspect of our current business arrangements.
In the last few years an increasing number of legal firms have chosen to practice as limited liability partnerships. Using an LLP brings the advantages of limited liability for the members while allowing the business to be conducted and taxed in a manner very similar to the traditional partnership. We see this as a very positive step in modernising the business medium through which we operate.

Traineeships
We do not know at this stage whether we will have a requirement for a trainee to commence work in 2008.
